Loving Our Immigrant and Refugee Neighbors
Stand Beside our Refugee Neighbors
Dear Partners in Christ,
Recent Presidential Executive Orders have resulted in a freeze on federal funds for many refugee service agencies. This has left many legally resettled refugees without essential support, and they are now turning to Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA) for help.
Unlike federally funded agencies, CFNA does not receive or seek government support. As an LCMS Recognized Service Organization, our ministry stands firm because of the faithful generosity of believers like you—our churches, supporters, and volunteers. Your partnership allows us to keep our doors open and continue sharing Christ’s love with those in need. So, in these challenging times, we turn to you with gratitude and urgency.
Today, we ask for your help in a tangible way. Many legal refugee families are seeking help with basic household items and groceries. You can make a difference by:
Donating essential household items (e.g., cleaning supplies, toiletries, kitchen essentials) - click here for our Amazon Wishlist
Providing grocery gift cards for refugee families in urgent need
Making a financial contribution to sustain this critical work - www.cfna-stl.org/donate
A list of where you may drop off items may be found by clicking HERE.
Your prayers, generosity, and action will ensure that these families—who have already endured so much—receive the support and hope they need.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ as we serve our refugee friends in His name. May God bless you abundantly for your love and kindness!
In Christ’s service,
Rev. Stanish Stanley Dr. Judith Meyer

Testimonials
CFNA is an official partner of the LCMS and reaches out to refugees and immigrants through acts of witness and service. Dr. Matthew C Harrison, President, the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod
We believe that CFNA was established by the will of God. — Vicar Lewi Jermiya
None in St. Louis are impacting lives more than CFNA. — Rev. Bart Day
What a blessing CFNA has been to so many “strangers in our midst,” who have come among us from around the world, seen, experienced and heard about the love of God in Christ Jesus. — Douglas Rutt
I have had the privilege of baptizing over 35 Nepali individuals, most of whom came out of the darkness of Hinduism or Buddhism and into the Light of Christ. — Rev. Matt Clark
“They serve as a model for how to love your neighbor through service and witness.” — Dr. Steve Schave
