CFNA's 14th Annual Trivia Benefit Raises $15,000!

The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens warmly welcomed our virtual benefit on April 9th and April 17th. A Welcome to CFNA video featuring refugees representing friends from more than 43 different countries served by CFNA, an online auction that sold 120 items, and a lively game of Trivia including a round of international questions from our facilitators made for a great evening.

Watching the video and then going to breakout rooms to discuss the trivia questions with family and friends from more than 12 different states was fun. The 23 teams with a total of 158 players included 3 Middle School teams. There was time to see how the grandkids and nieces and nephews have grown and to see volunteers scattered around the country. Yes, come back, and yes, volunteer! Yes, keep us in your prayers! Yes, donations are always welcome. We are very thankful for the more than $15,000 raised.

Mike Albers' team was the first to register. Each member won The Unexpected Missionary, the story of Evangelist Gagan Gurung, MissionNationPublishing.org. Mike Albers captained the April 9 winning team. Bethany Albers led the CCLS Academic Team to an Apr. 17th victory.

Our Co-Chairs, Sue Madden, and Kelly Teuscher share, "We were thrilled with the response from the supporters who won auction items, played Trivia, watched the entertainment video, were sponsors or donated items. God also blessed the event by providing a great team who spent a lot of time to pull it off in just a few months' time."
