Trivia Night 2024!
/CFNA welcomed over 200 trivia players to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church on April 6 for the 17th annual Trivia Night and Silent Auction. It’s the first time the event has been held at Abiding Savior and everyone enjoyed the venue. Norma Schroll brought a group of friends to the event and said, “I also love running into so many people that I know that I haven’t seen for such a long time! Great time to connect!”

Executive Director Stanish Stanley and our good friend Joanie Harwell led the evening as MCs, reading questions and answers and encouraging people to bid on silent auction items. Attendance prizes were handed out by some of our New American students, Rhoda, Nanama, Judy, Clervens, Vincent, and Gentil. Trivia players got to hear a little about each student as they were interviewed by Amy Zeigler, CFNA’s Community Engagement Associate.
During the event, Al & Carol Buckman were honored with a Board Resolution to recognize and thank them for their dedication to and leadership of CFNA. This was presented to them by Dr. Douglass Rutt, CFNA Board Chairman, and may be viewed here.
Twenty-one volunteers worked to make the evening a success, including CFNA staff people, students, and friends. One of our volunteers was Lois Mahsman. Lois not only volunteered but hosted a table and sponsored a round of Trivia. She says, “I am so glad CFNA was so blessed with the night and wish God's continued blessing for the amazing work done and will continue to do.”
The event was also sponsored by KFUO Radio, Thrivent, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Des Peres, Lutheran High School South, the Caciano Family, Telle Tire, Resurrection Lutheran Church, Cornerstone Wealth, Judith & David Meyer, and Concordia Lutheran Church.
Overall the evening was a great success. Thanks to all who participated!!
