Word of Life is established at three church locations, with its primary campus situated on the premises of Ascension Lutheran Church. The purpose of Word of Life is to provide academic excellence and support for all its students in the context of a safe, loving and diverse environment where Christ remains at the center. Enrollment diversity includes students from 15 birth nations including Nepal, Bhutan, Kenya, Congo, Egypt, Guatemala, Korea, Albania and more!
Moreover, Word of Life is growing. Over the past two years enrollment has increased by 26 percent. None of this would be possible without the partnership of numerous congregations and organizations like Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA) and the enduring presence of Christ among us.
With a Preschool through 8th grade enrollment of 223 students, WOL does not seek to be the biggest school or even the most revered. Rather it seeks to serve Christ through excellence in education with the primary beneficiaries being the students and their respective families.
We offer congratulations to the staff, teachers and all our partners for their commitment and excellent efforts. We give all credit to God for His continued blessings upon this school and the community it serves.
