Serving for Time and Eternity

CFNA’s Endowment Fund will help secure its financial future.

Since its founding in 2002 and incorporation in 2008, Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA) has been privileged to serve refugees and immigrants as they arrive here in our hometown of St. Louis.

Each year hundreds of refugees are invited to come to America.  These refugee immigrants come from refugee camps located in some of the most hostile regions around the globe. When they arrive, our newest neighbors typically have no more than what they are able to carry.

CFNA immediately steps into the gap providing day-to-day necessities, building local community relationships, training, supporting U.S. citizenship, and assisting with job searches.

Further, most refugees do not believe Jesus is the Son of God. As our newest neighbors arrive, CFNA shares the love of Jesus through Bible studies, in each encounter, and in gentle acts of service.

CFNA’s Christ-centered ministry connects refugees to local churches and through the work of the Holy Spirit many refugees choose to be baptized into the Christian faith.

From among those baptized, three Bible Fellowships have been formed, each of them linked with a specific LCMS congregation.  From among these Fellowships four emerging church leaders have been enrolled in Concordia Seminary’s EIIT (Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology) program.  The first of those enrolled will graduate this year and will be certified for ordination in the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

Serving others focused not only on today’s needs but also for eternity is what drives CFNA’s committed staff, volunteers, and loyal supporters.

CFNA has been blessed by generous supporters like you.  Financial resources from your support have helped us meet the ministry needs of New Americans.  And, the needs continue to grow.

CFNA is stepping forward to meet these growing needs, expand our impact for years to come, and secure the long-term financial future of the ministry.  To fuel this vision, the Board of Directors of CFNA has established the Christian Friends of New Americans Endowment Fund.

Your gift to the CFNA Endowment Fund will provide much-needed long-term funding to meet the needs of the growing number of refugee immigrants as they arrive in our hometown and help secure the long-term financial future of CFNA.

Recognizing the significance of this next step in CFNA’s ministry, 100% of all Board members have made a financial commitment to the CFNA Endowment.  Please join us in this very significant effort by donating today.
